Church of Ireland
Ballydehob Union of Parishes
In case you’re wondering, the parishes in question comprise those of Aughadown, Ballydehob and Kilcoe.
We are part of the Church of Ireland which is in turn part of the worldwide Anglican Communion with 70 million members in 164 countries.
As you will see as you explore the site, we are an active parish very much involved within the wider community of this rural part of County Cork. We see it as an important part of our collective witness and responsibilities to play a full role in community and ecumenical life, both in the villages of the parish and beyond.
As well as the activities of our Church School, the Mothers’ Union branch, ecumenical and other specific events, an emerging youth group, festivals and programmes of study, we have also been active in making use of the two churches in the combined parishes as places for celebrating local and national musical talent; something which gives an extra dimension to these two beautiful places of worship.
This web site is designed to provide our visitors with information about what we do and also to encourage you to join us in either of the churches if you are passing through this beautiful part of West Cork – you will always be made welcome!
