I’m sure you will have heard, but it is also good news that the government will permit church services to resume after 10 May. We will plan on having our first service midweek on Wednesday 12 May at 11am in St. Matthias.
On Sunday 17 May, we will return to our normal services at 10 am in St. Matthew, Aughadown, and 11:30 in St. Matthias, Ballydehob.
For updates on Parish news and services please visit our WhatsApp Group Ballydehob Union where you will also find links to recordings of Reverend Steve's sermons.
The current rota for readers at services and the list of readings can be downloaded here
If you would like to read in either of our Churches then please contact the Rector.
A Time for communion and fellowship: On most Wednesdays, Covid restrictions permitting, we gather at Saint Matthias Church in Ballydehob for a midweek Holy Communion service at 11 AM followed by refreshments in the Rectory. We welcome everyone, to the service and/or refreshments, Church of Ireland or not, friend and stranger.
If you find your way out here to the western end of Cork on a Wednesday morning, and are at a loose end, please do join us.
However, you may call the Rectory (028 37117) to check things out first, as pastoral demands may call me away.
